One of the Swiss brands that Europa Star has been following closely (See Europa Star 01/2007) and which has family watchmaking roots dating back to the early 1700’s is H. Moser & Cie, Schaffhausen Switzerland. The brand has just announced cooperation with a new U.S. partner providing a presence in North America—bringing the brand in a full circle as an international line.
Moser-Perpetual 1
Moser Schaffhausen AG was successfully reestablished in 2002, and the H. Moser & Cie brand of complex timepieces made its worldwide debut at BaselWorld 2005. It was an immediate hit. In 2006, the Moser-Perpetual 1 was honoured with the prestigious Grand Prix d’Horlogerie of Geneva award in the category of ‘Favourite Watch with Complication’. Today, the brand’s most coveted collections include the Moser-Perpetual 1, Monard Date, Monard and Mayu.
