Formex Watch SA and Fabian Cancellara get along well together, so well that they constitute an ideal team. When we're talking about resistance to extreme conditions, they have nothing to learn from anybody. Also, they both excel in their sense of innovation and performance. It's no surprise, then, that Fabian Cancellara - time trial world champion and Paris-Roubaix winner - is enthusiastic about the active suspension system patented by the watch manufactures from Lengnau. So enthusiastic that he has become a watchmaker himself, to create a new watch with Formex Watch S.A. The legendary cobblestones of the Paris-Roubaix race and the case suspension system of Formex Watch S.A. box constituted the main source of inspiration for the creation of the Cancellara watch.
And this is Fabian Cancellara's opinion: “Formex Watch SA and I share the same passion for top-level performance, and the same desire to give always the best. Taking part in the development of my own watch, and so discovering the technology that animates Formex watches, was a very interesting experience for me. However, the ultimate and unique features of the Cancellara watch are its invisible suspension, its dial decorated with the famous”pavé“cobblestones and its bracelet texture reminiscent of the profile of a bicycle tire. This watch is splendid, and I am delighted to wear it.”

The Cancellara model is available in a limited series. This new emphasis will also be present in the design of the Formex collection that will be revealed this year at BaselWorld.
