‘Structure HL’, a new type of pocket watch

Hautlence

Hautlence has certainly made an impression with the metamorphosis of its HL watch into a pocket watch and table timekeeper. Actually, this transformation seems quite natural, and it also proposes a very contemporary manner to revisit a long lost habit—that of carrying one’s watch in the hand, and hiding it in a pocket, whilst being able play with it at will.
The hyper-mechanical structure of the HL, with its assortment of connecting rods activating the jumping hour and retrograde minutes, lends itself wonderfully to this playful and imaginative timepiece.
While the new ‘Structure HL’ is a pocket watch in the traditional sense, it can also be converted into a timekeeper to be placed on a small stand on a desk or table. It is being presented at BaselWorld.
Eight basic models will be available, each in quantities of 88 watches. This is a delightful diversion while waiting to discover the next Hautlence watch that will surely surprise many.
