The Overseas collection by Vacheron Constantin is now enriched by a new Overseas Perpetual Calendar Chronograph model in 18-carat pink gold and an Overseas Chronograph in stainless steel with a navy blue dial. Both models combine the elegance of the brand’s high-end watchmaking with a sporty touch in robust timepieces that are resistant to a pressure of 15 bar (150 metres depth) and magnetic fields of 25,000 A/m.

Overseas Chronograph Perpetual Calendar Combining the haute horlogerie complication of a perpetual calendar with the sporty practicality of a chronograph function, the 42mm Overseas Chronograph Perpetual Calendar model is a masterful blend of chic elegance and technical complication.

The model exhibits all the signature elements of the Overseas collection, from the bezel inspired by Vacheron Constantin’s Maltese Cross emblem to the hour markers, crown, screw-lock pushers and the caseback enhanced by a raised medallion depicting the famous three-mast Amerigo Vespucci ship.

A subtle sand-coloured dial perfectly complements the pink-gold hue of the case, inside which beats the Calibre 1136 QP—a mechanical self-winding movement oscillating at the rate of 21,600 vibrations per hour and endowed with approximately 40 hours of power reserve. In addition to the hours, minutes and small seconds at 6 o’clock, Calibre 1136 QP powers the chronograph functions—sweep seconds-hand, 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock and 12-hour counter at 9 o’clock—as well as those of the perpetual calendar—day of the week, date, 48-month counter with leap years as well as a moon-phase display.

The Overseas Chronograph Perpetual Calendar is delivered with two straps: one in vulcanised brown rubber and the other in brown alligator leather. A pink gold triple-blade, double-pusher folding clasp keeps the watch securely on the wrist and the luxurious presentation case in which the watch is delivered is equipped with a watch winder to keep the watch running and avoid the hassle of having to reset the perpetual calendar indications.

Overseas Chronograph The new Chronograph model adds a combination of stainless-steel case and blue dial to the Overseas collection and shares the same distinctive codes that have characterised the collection since its launch in 1996. The Chronograph model is further enhanced by its stainless-steel bracelet, which is made up of links shaped like a half Maltese Cross, the emblem of Vacheron Constantin.

It is powered by Calibre 1137, a mechanical self-winding chronograph movement beating at 21,600 vibrations/hour and with a 40-hour power reserve. In addition to the hours, minutes and small seconds at 6 o’clock along with the chronograph functions—sweep seconds-hand, 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock and 12-hour counter at 9 o’clock—this Overseas Chronograph also features a big date in a twin aperture at 12 o’clock.
