Welcome to our new responsive design website that launched today. As you can see from the image below (or by trying it for yourself!), the format of the site adapts automatically to the device you are viewing it on. Whether you’re viewing from a desktop computer, a laptop, tablet or smartphone, you will always have direct access to the latest news and magazine contents to scroll or swipe your way through. Ipad users can choose between this responsive version of the site or the existing dedicated Ipad site app, which will remain active.

In redesigning the site, we have also taken the opportunity to make a number of other improvements:

NEW MENU STRUCTURE
We have simplified the menu structure with drop-down menus that work on all devices and help you find what you are looking for quicker and more easily. It clearly separates the latest news from the in-depth articles found in the magazine, listing both alongside our popular Watch Knowledge and Brand Index sections. You can also search the entire site directly from the menu bar, as well as access our sites in other languages.

ADVERTISING
New advertising formats that are better suited to the responsive design, including buttons, page skins and clock banners, offer new promotional possibilities to brands and adapt their size and format automatically to different the display types.

BRAND INDEX
One of the most-visited sections on our website, the Brand Index is a valuable archive of information and an excellent promotional opportunity for over 500 watch brands listed in it. In addition to the contact information for each brand, it lists all news and magazine articles related to the brand that have been published in print or online since the year 2000 and includes a link to all images related to the brand.

SOCIAL SHARING
Look out for the social sharing bar, which will pop out of the left-hand side of the screen on all articles and allows you to print, e-mail or share content via the most common social networks. We have also added a feature that suggests related articles that readers might be interested in.

WATCH & JEWELLERY GALLERIES
Our watch gallery, which is visible on the homepage, offers a selection of the latest models presented by the world’s watch brands. You can select the complete watch gallery for a brand directly from the homepage using the drop-down menu or click on any watch to see a larger photo and related news for that brand.
Given the close links between the worlds of watchmaking and jewellery, we have also included a new jewellery gallery on our homepage, presented by our sister publication CIJ Trends & Colours, to showcase the latest jewellery creations.
