he Excellence Triptych series is the new “backbone” of the traditional line developed by Louis Erard. As its name suggests, the automatic collection features three models: a Petite Seconde (CHF 1,500), a Régulateur (CHF 2,500) and a Chronographe Monopoussoir (CHF 3,500) model.

The collection’s design is inspired by the distinctive trees surrounding the Swiss brand’s workshops in Le Noirmont, echoing “Art Sapin”, a variation of Art Nouveau native to the Jura mountains, and reflected in the shape of the hands and the crown decoration.
The case, while echoing the roundness of old pocket watches, is tightened by a sapphire crystal, giving the overall piece a contemporary style. The matt silver dial, reminisicent of the elegant simplicity of the 1950s, is enhanced with satin-brushed, snailed and diamond-cut finishes.

Specific details, from the typography and metal indexes to the handmade bushings, have been finely crafted.
