s part of its mission to bring about “Change for the Better”, Oris often collaborates with inspirational agencies that share a common vision.
“Change comes when we work together,” the brand states. “At Oris, we’re fortunate to have collaborated with some of the world’s most inspiring and ambitious agencies for change. Some have taken us under the water; others into the sky. Some have kept us on dry land. But always, the ambition is to fulfil our mission: to bring about Change for the Better.”
As part of this vision, the brand has recently announced a new collaboration with Wings of Hope, a US-based aeronautical humanitarian organisation founded 60 years ago. Twice nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize, Wings of Hope has used the power of aviation to bring medical support to remote and vulnerable communities in more than 50 countries.
The Oris Wings of Hope Limited Edition watches will support its mission, too. The brand is making two models, both based on its signature Big Crown pilot’s watch, and both powered by Calibre 401, its high-performance five-day automatic movement. One comes in steel with a diameter of 40 mm, limited to 1,000 pieces; the other, limited to 100, is in solid 18-karat yellow gold with a diameter of 38 mm. Both come on a Cervo Volante sustainable deer leather strap.

As per our company mission, together we’ll bring about Change for the Better.”
