he Aventi Golden Tiger is the brand’s distinguished inaugural artistic and museum piece, available solely through a selective allocation process. Inspired by the mystique of the wild and the primeval relationship linking men to nature, the brand bridges the realms of art and horology to introduce the world to a masterpiece that roars with pride.

Reviving the ancient art of intaglio on a sapphire base, the brand offers the world its first golden hologram floating in sapphire. Intaglio is the basis of bas-relief sculpture, one of the first artistic expressions developed by man in its history. Through careful removal of material from a stone surface with sharp metal instruments, Babylonians, Sumerians, Egyptians, and later, Greeks and Romans have created majestic decorations that have illustrated scenes from life and after-life.

Aventi’s Golden Tiger timepiece features a meticulously hand-carved Intaglio sapphire dial, presenting a shimmering reversed tiger face lined with 24k gold. Every element, from the saltwater crocodile wristband to the Grade 5 titanium movement, screams unparalleled quality.

But Aventi has gone one step further. With careful and determined precision, the brand excavated the surface of a sheet of sapphire crystal, to obtain the tiger’s head, then filled the space that we carved with 24k gold. The Romans, who were masters of glass-making, obtained a few exceptional vials and vases using a similar principle, but did not have the same materials and techniques, and could not achieve the same results. Now it is possible – and it is for the lucky few who could enjoy the results of these 4,000 years of artistic refinement.

The Golden Tiger boasts an in-house calibre known for its rare beauty and advanced technical prowess – the GT-01S. This Swiss-made hand-wound movement features one of the most coveted complications in the world of watchmaking: the tourbillon, which has undergone a complete redesign. As a result, the Golden Tiger’s tourbillon comprises a mere 18 components, a significant reduction from the approximately 40 found in standard models.
