Carrera y Carrera has appointed Nathalie Guedj, former president and CEO of Van Cleef & Arpels, Inc. in the United States, as the Spanish jewelry company's new managing director.

Guedj joined the Richemont Group in 1988. She has served as vice president of sales at Cartier Belgium and vice president of marketing at Cartier USA.

Guedj appointment represents one of several executive changes at the Carerra y Carrera following the company's acquisition by the Lladro Group last March.

Lladro Commercial, S.A., CEO Alain Viot will take the place of Carerra y Carerra CEO Maria Eugenia Girón. In a statement, Viot expressed his “full confidence in Nathalie, together with the team at Carerra y Carerra to carry out this project, for which the Lladro Group has high hopes.”
