About 400 people, including hotel magnates Kathy and Rick Hilton and designer Tommy Hilfiger, attended The Second Annual Red Cross Ball Gala Dinner and auction held at the private estate of Todd and Carole Rome in the Hamptons in Long Island, N.Y.
Tiret's Second Chance Splash watch sold for $17,000, which will go toward the Red Cross. Tiret did not name the winning bidder.
The watch includes a patented, removable diamond bezel and an oversized, oval watchcase housing a pink mother of pearl dial with diamonds. The watchstrap features a sapphire and diamond clasp. The timepiece itself includes about 7.5 carats of diamonds, a double time zone, double chronograph and double date windows.
