The Chopard Manufacture celebrated its 10th anniversary recently in Fleurier. After a morning tour of its workshops, international guests were invited to discover the new museum L.U.CEUM situated in the attic of the manufacture.

The L.U.CEUM offers a magnificent collection of old watches and “accessories of time”, which include the most prestigious names in the world of watch-making. Karl-Friedrich Scheufele inaugurated the museum in the presence of family friends, José Carreras and Jacky Ickx, who were the guests of honour at the event.

The celebration continued with a presentation of the new chronograph “L.U.C Chrono One”, which took place in a beautiful old country villa restored by Chopard in the town centre. This exceptional timepiece was specially made to commemorate the manufacture’s 10th anniversary; its entirely new calibre, the “L.U.C CF 10” with an integrated chronograph function, was developed in record time and is a reflection of the know-how and competence of the Chopard Manufacture watchmakers. Chopard has pending patents on this watch.
