Pianist Helene Grimaud has signed on as an international brand ambassador for Montblanc.
Grimaud will appear in an extensive advertising campaign wearing Montblanc's Lady Profile Diamond Crossover watch and new Montblanc jewelry and eyewear.
The French native lives near New York City. She won the Grand Prix du Disque in 1985 at age 15 and currently plays with several symphony orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra and the New York Philharmonic. In 2005, she took the Echo Classic Award for “Instrumentalist of the Year.”
The addition of Grimaud to Montblanc's slate of ambassadors represents one more step in the company's continued focus on wooing female luxury consumers.
In March, the company launched the Montblanc Diamond Jewelry Collection, which features more than 65 pieces in 18-karat gold and diamonds. The collection draws inspiration from the patented Montblanc Diamond, which features 43 facets cut in the shape of Montblanc's emblematic star.
The diamond-jewelry collection, which is currently available in U.S. Montblanc boutiques, includes five lines: Etoile Secrete, La Dame Blanche, Magie en Blanc et Noir, Montblanc 4810 and Montblanc Celebrating Red Carpet Moments.
