Chopard sponsors 46th Annual New York Film Festival

Chopard announced its sponsorship of the Film Society of Lincoln Center’s - 46th Annual New York Film Festival (NYFF).

Known world-wide for it’s support of international cinema, Chopard has partnered with the prestigious Cannes Film Festival for the past twelve years and creates the beautiful Palme d’Or trophy which is the festival’s highest honor. The NYFF is a seventeen daylong festival showcasing the best in global cinema. The festival begins with the screening of French director Laurent Cantet’s The Class, which won the Palme d’Or in Cannes earlier this year - immediately followed by the opening night gala at Tavern on the Green. Clint Eastwood’s highly anticipated film Changeling, starring Angelina Jolie and John Malkovich, will screen as the festival centerpiece and Darren Aronofsky’s new film, The Wrestler, starring Mickey Rourke, Marisa Tomei and Evan Rachel Wood will close the festival. Other films being screened include Wong Kar-Wai’s Ashes of Time Redux, Steven Soderbergh’s Che, and Steve McQueen’s Hunger.
