The new N026 collection by Nina Ricci elevates the brand into another niche within the watchmaking world. For the first time in its lifetime, the Nina Ricci brand is launching a collection of stylish, yet simplistically designed watches with complications – the summit of which is its Tourbillon.
Produced in seven models, there is a Tourbillon, a Chronograph and three-hand versions with automatic or manual winding and skeleton movements.
The hand-wound Tourbillon, the pinnacle of the N026 collection, is equipped with a hand-wound SG TY800 tourbillon movement with 19 jewels, pulsating at 21,600 vibration per hour with a 42-hour power reserve.
The watches are in stainless steel and incorpor-ate, rather surprisingly, asymmetrical horns. Available in pure white, the emblematic colour of Nina Ricci, and in diamond-studded black, with the sparkling tourbillon exposed at 6 o’clock.
The watches are water-resistant to 50 metres, are numbered and engraved on the caseback, come with a folding clasp and are priced reasonably between 3,700 and 5150 Swiss francs for the diamond-set watch.
