SEA-TOUCH - T-TOUCH EXPERT PILOT

This year at BaselWorld, Tissot is extending its phenomenally successful T-Touch line, adding new watches to its MotoGP offering, introducing several limited editions and introducing a completely new collection. In these uncertain economic times, Tissot is coming out strong, supporting retailers with great new product.

T-Touch
In the T-Touch line, Tissot presents a high-performance tactile watch for divers, the SEA-Touch. Amazingly, wearers can access all its features down to a depth of 200 metres. Features include two time zones, dive depth, digital chronograph, thermometer, alarm, perpetual calendar date, compass and divers’ logbook - all activated by touch on the glass. The pushers of the chronograph can also be operated underwater, making the SEA-Touch one of the few diver's chronograph that can make this claim.
The T-Touch Expert Pilot watch is also being introduced this BaselWorld, introducing the Tissot tactile functionality into the aviation world. A touch of the crown and scratchproof crystal gives access to 11 separate functions, including an altimeter, altitude difference meter, barometer and countdown timer.

T-RACE MOTOGP LIMITED EDITION - COUTURIER CHRONO AUTO

Limited Editions
This BaselWorld sees three limited editions, all with a racing bent. To celebrate MotoGP racer Nicky Hayden’s fourth year as a Tissot ambassador, who is now racing a Ducati for the first time, the 2009 T-Race Nicky Hayden comes in a numbered limited edition of 4,999.
The 2009 T-Race MotoGP Limited Edition is limited to 9,002 pieces to underscore Tissot's role as official timekeeper of MotoGP. As in past years, the watch comes in a motorbike helmet presentation box containing medallions depicting the 18 race circuits in MotoGP. These medallions can be interchanged on the case back using a special tool.
To celebrate the first woman ever to win an IndyCar® race, Tissot introduces the T-Race Danica Patrick Limited Edition. In April 2008, Danica Patrick made history when she won a race in the IndyCar® Series, so this limited edition (4,999 pieces) is dedicated to that triumph.
Mining its archives, Tissot is bringing back the Art Deco-styled ‘banana-shaped’ Classic Prince, a timepiece from the early 1900s. Powered by a Swiss made 17-jewel mechanical movement, the Classic Prince comes in three variations, each limited to 4,999, all in 18 carat rose gold, with or without diamonds.

Tissot Couturier
This year, Tissot is introducing a new collection, Tissot Couturier, an elegant group of timepieces using the best movements and materials. The Tissot Couturier watches (21 different versions) use five different movements, including two Tissot Couturier Chrono Auto models, one powered by the celebrated 7750 Valjoux movement, the other by a newly developed ETA C01.211 mechanism.
Surprisingly, what we've listed here is not all the new Tissot watches for BaselWorld - there are even more (My T-Tonneau Diamonds, T-Moments, Equi-T Festive Special, Stylis-T Gent Chrono etc.). In 2009, where many brands are cautious, Tissot doesn't seem to be holding anything back.
