Not only does height and weight make Erwin Sattler's Columna Temporis very special, this precision pendulum clock is an exceptional one: the oscillation of the pendulum almost exactly matches the universal second given by the caesium nuclear clocks. This is bound to last for years since the design and construction avoid every problem like vibration, friction or changes in barometric pressure and temperature.



A temporary exhibition dedicated to masterpieces taken from Erwin Sattler's collection (Columna Temporis, Trilogie) and to some historical pieces kindly lent by Osvaldo Patrizzi, would famous specialist in auctions.
