Raymond Weil opens new Boutique in Bulgaria

September 2009

Raymond Weil's involvement with Bulgaria goes back over 20 years… At the time, the independent family watchmaking firm played a pioneering role as the first Swiss watchmaker present in the country. Today, thanks to this prestigious new venue, Raymond Weil is reinforcing its presence in a rapidly expanding market.

Connoisseurs of Raymond Weil watches will now be able to admire the Brand's latest collections in an exclusive boutique at 46 Vitosha Boulevard - the leading street for luxury shopping in central Sofia.

The boutique's sleek, futuristic design, conceived by Raymond Weil's architect-decorator, is fully in tune with the Geneva Brand's values of independence, audacity, modernity and innovation, and perfectly respects the architectural identity common to all Raymond Weil boutiques worldwide.

The new Sofia boutique has a vast display-window that allows the public to see inside and admire the decorative materials fitted by craftsmen, which echo the materials of the watches themselves and fire the imagination. The refined, mirror-lined interior shimmers with light-effects and draws the eye to a warm-toned area where customers can examine the Brand's exquisite timepieces in total discretion.

The new venue sees Raymond Weil reinforce its policy of developing exclusive boutiques. After inaugurating a new outlet in Dubai last May (the brand now has four boutiques in the United Arab Emirates), further openings in the months ahead will expand the family firm's distribution network in such key markets as Saudi Arabia (Al-Khobar), India (Mumbai & New Delhi) and Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City).
