Hong Kong, the world market with the highest percentage of connoisseurs and collectors of fine timepieces, expressed its appreciation for the uniqueness of the Luminor Submersible 1950 3 Days Automatic Bronzo – 47mm by naming it one of the “10 Celebrated Watches in the Chinese-speaking World”, a selection of timepieces made by a jury that includes some of the most influential collectors and expert journalists. Still in Asia, Japan also paid its tribute to the watch by awarding it the Watch of the Year sponsored by the World Wrist Watch trade magazine.
Awards also came from the other side of the Pacific Ocean: the Mexican magazine, Tiempo de Relojes named the Luminor Submersible 1950 3 Days Automatic Bronzo – 47mm “Sports Watch of the Year”.
Another watch in the 2011 collection of Officine Panerai also received an international award: the Luminor Chrono Daylight won the award endorsed by Munichtime, the leading industry exhibition in Germany, as best watch in the “Sporty Dynamism” category.
