RJ – Romain Jerome presents two limited-edition models in commemoration of the Titanic, which first set sail across the Atlantic on 2 April 1912, and was the inspiration behind the first-ever Romain Jerome collection.
The two limited-edition Steampunk models in the Titanic-DNA collection, the Steampunt Auto 100th Anniversary and the Steampunk Chrono 100th anniversary have a 50mm diameter case with a stable oxidised steel bezel made from a fusion of metal from the wreck of the Titanic recovered from a depth of 3840 metres and additional metal supplied by the Harland & Wolff shipyard where the Titanic was built.

The special editions have a revolving propeller on the dial, which acts as the small seconds indicator and has been oxidised and then stabilised using the same procedure as for the bezel. The case-back is embossed with a medallion commemorating the date of the Titanic’s launch. Production is limited to 100 pieces of each model.
