During the Venice International Film Festival, Jaeger-LeCoutre’s new Rendez-Vous collection was a leading star on the red carpet worn by some of the world’s most glamorous talents, starting with actress Carmen Chaplin adorned with the Rendez-Vous Art at the opening ceremony.
The excitement heightened when, during the Jaeger-LeCoultre Glory to the Filmmaker Award, legendary director Spike Lee was recognized for his contribution to film.
Next, talent supported the “A Rose for Emergency” project for Charity benefit struck an emotional chord. Jaeger-LeCoultre also hosted a gala dinner “Hommage à la Rose” attended by cinema greats such as Catherine Deneuve, Freida Pinto and Clive Owen.

At the closing ceremony, the award for best actress went to Hadas Yaron for her role in the film “Lemale Et Ha Chalal” and Philip Seymour Hoffman took away the award for best actor for his role in the film “The Master”.

The highly coveted Lion d’Or went to Kim Ki-Duk for the film “Pieta”. Jaeger-LeCoultre paid a fitting tribute to the talent of these exceptional artists by awarding them each a unique personalised Reverso timepiece bearing the symbol of the City of Water - the Lion - and the inscription, “69th Mostra”.
