Omega is proud to announce that Chinese golfer Shanshan Feng has joined its family of brand ambassadors. She is part of a roster that already includes Greg Norman, Sergio Garcia and Michelle Wie.

Shanshan Feng is one of the most exciting professional golfers in the world. She became the first fullexempt player from China to join the LPGA Tour and in the years since, has emerged as one of the Tour’s fiercest competitors. In 2012, the talented 23-year-old won the LPGA Championship, a major title, by two strokes, becoming the first Chinese golfer to win a major– in fact, she was the first player from mainland China (male or female) to accomplish the feat.

The victory established her solidly among the top-ranked women golfers – it was among the five championship trophies she won in 2012 – and she is currently ranked sixth in the world.

Shanshan Feng started playing golf at an early age. Her father worked at the golf association in her home city of Guangzhou and started taking her to the course when she was ten years old.

Omega is proud that this outstanding competitor, whose smile lights up every course she plays on, has joined its family of golfing brand ambassadors. The brand looks forward to celebrating with Shanshan Feng each time she adds to her already-impressive list of victories and achievements on the golf course.

The sport of golf has become enormously popular in China and continues to enjoy extraordinary growth. Omega is thrilled that it will have the opportunity to celebrate each of Shanshan’s victories with her fans in her home country. The brand has been present in China for more than a century and is the market leader in the prestige watch segment. Shanshan Feng’s role as a brand ambassador will raise awareness of Omega even further, particularly among the millions of Chinese golf fans.
