The publication of a new catalogue by family-run watch and jewellery suppliers Cousins is something of an event, since the company last published a catalogue over eight years ago in 2006.

But since the range of products offered by the company has grown considerably over the past three years to reach over 115,000 items that are in stock at the company’s warehouse in Romford in the UK, it was time for an update of the catalogue, which is widely considered as a reference in the watch and jewellery component supply trade.

The Cousins 2014 catalogue

The 2014 catalogue has a staggering 1,100 pages and is crammed with information and thousands of full colour images. “I would say it is the most comprehensive source of information that has been seen anywhere in our trade, ever,” says Samuel Cousins of the company.

The new catalogue is the result of three years of work, during which software was incorporated into the company database to allow this encyclopaedic source of information to be produced, almost like a print copy of the company’s website. “The integration has been so successful, that we can effectively produce a similarly sized catalogue every year with the push of a button,” says Mr Cousins.
