The Expendables 3, the latest in a series of all-star action movies starring major Hollywood figures like Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger, has just hit the cinema a few days ago.
This action-packed film directed by Patrick Hughes is a sequel to the 2012 film, The Expendables 2 and it is the third episode of the trilogy.
Terminator’s Arnold Scharzenegger has chosen to sport the U-Boat U-42 Unicum watch, during the filming.

This particular piece, designed by Italo Fontana, has been subjected to certain treatments including being deliberately distressed to produce a real “vintage look”.
Arnold Schwarzenegger has always been intrigued by Italo Fontana’s designs; last month accompanied by the other stars, for the film’s premiere at Cannes, he finished off his rugged look with his U-1942, a 65mm model that is limited to just 29 pieces.

Back:
In titanium fixed on case with 6 encapsulated hexagon screws in steel, serial number engraved by hand on the back case.
Dial:
Mat black, markers treated with superluminova (peach color).
Baton hands, treated with superluminova.
The dial, the case and the hands are refinished by hand using the traditional artisanal techniques. This handmade technique renders each U-Boat Unicum, different and one of its kind.
Crystal:
Sapphire glass.

300 mt, 30 ATM.
Strap:
Hand made and hand finished calf leather, carefully selected and processed following the traditional artisan handcrafted techniques, which give the strap a naturally distressed feel and look.
Buckle in titanium, with subsequent coating PVD opaque black and tongue in bronze.
