With its new “Héritage Slim” Automatic collection, Aerowatch joins the ranks of watchmakers offering a well-executed thin timepiece.

It’s interesting to see how far Jura-based brand Aerowatch has come over the years. Originally founded in 1910, the small company excelled at making pocket watches. As its name might suggest, they were trying to capitalize on the new era of flight, mainly targeting English-speaking markets.

It was quite recent that the brand started to make original wristwatches with Swiss movements. In fact, it was only in 2004! But today the former pocket watch specialist has a wide proposition, among them an impressive new slim collection.

Their new Héritage Slim comes in at a thickness of 9.18 mm, offering models with a slender silhouette in a 40 mm case. As is usually the case with slim watches, these models are also extremely comfortable to wear. For the style-concientious, rest assured that the svelte case will fit neatly inside every dress shirt cuff.

The elegant dial design features a sunburst pattern and a date display at 6 o’clock. Baton-style markers in rose gold add a bit more bite to the dial, enhancing legibility.

The launch of the Héritage Slim Automatic collection is also on point with this year’s fall and winter trend focused on retro 1980s chic styling. But above all, the new collection will be appreciated by watch lovers looking for a solid automatic wristwatch at an affordable price.

The watch comes in two references, Ref. A 67975 AA02 M in stainless steel and Ref. A 67975 RO01 in rose PVD, both powered by the Swiss automatic SW 300 caliber. Other options include charcoal or silvery sun-brushed dials, and leather straps or bi-color bracelets.
