Inhorgenta Europe 2004, top forum for jewellery design

October 2003

In 2004, from 20 to 23 February, all eyes will again
be on Munich's international watch, clock and jewellery fair. The exhibiting manufacturers and the 30,000 trade visitors from Europe and around the
world have known for years that this is the most important trade show for watches, clocks, jewellery, pearls, precious stones and technology within the European Union.

Inhorgenta Europe is particularly renowned for its focus on designer jewellery. Each year it showcases a superb display of jewellery, with lots of new products and the very latest collections. It's all there, from diamond necklaces, pearls and gold and silver jewellery to fashion watches and sports chronographs, as well as an extensive presentation of platinum jewellery. The range of jewellery on display at Inhorgenta Europe is truly international - global players and young, up-and-coming designers flock here from all around the world to present their creations.

Global brands like Bunz, Chopard, Furrer-Jacôt and Henrich & Denzel will, of course, be represented,
along with a host of other names in Hall C2, which
has developed into a veritable 'who's who' of the jewellery design world. This display of the work of
300 or so jewellery designers is an important source
of inspiration and each year it gives fresh impetus
to the entire jewellery sector. Neissing, C.-F. Dau, Andre Ribeiro and Ehinger-Schwarz are just some
of the big names gathered around 'Designers' Avenue', the central aisle in C2. This hall is always a big attraction for exhibitors and trade visitors.

Original ideas and creative young designers are the life blood of the sector, and Munich is doing its bit here. Each year at Inhorgenta Europe, an Innovations Prize is awarded for outstanding and trend-setting jewellery design. In February 2004, the award is being presented for the fifth time. Exhibitors from all over Europe can submit work to the exhibition management for the competition. The prize-winning pieces will be put on display in a spectacular special exhibition at Inhorgenta Europe 2004.
