The Sao Paolo collection from Fope was born of a meeting with the young Brazilian designer Ara Vartanian, well known for his original and colorful creations. The shades of blue of the Rio Grande waters, the sparkling yellow of the Ipanema sun, and the green of the rainforests are among the colors that evoke the magical atmosphere of Brazil. Ara uses colorful precious and semi-precious gemstones that are set off by the sparkle of the white and yellow gold settings. The stones used in these contemporary settings include aquamarine, topaz, amethyst, kunzite, tourmaline, citrine, rose quartz, rutilated quartz and smoky quartz. The Sao Paolo collection is part of Fope's Y line of fine jewelry.
