New Bulgari luxury resort in Bali

In February 02 Europa Star reported that a Bulgari hotel was to be opened in Milan by Bulgari Hotels & Resorts, a joint venture company formed by the Italian contemporary jeweller Bulgari and the Luxury Group of Marriott International, Inc.

Following this first opening, in fact scheduled for 2004, Bulgari Hotels & Resorts now announces that a second hotel project is to be developed on a unique site in Bali, in collaboration with the Indonesian MRA Group, owner of franchised Bulgari stores in Indonesia.

Located near Pecatu village on the Jimbaran Peninsula, the exclusive resort will open in 2005. It will be composed of 58 villas and will offer a large spa, a private beach, two restaurants, a library, meeting rooms and a Bulgari store. The design and decoration, entrusted to architects Antonio Citterio & Partners, will feature traditional Balinese style using local materials.
