Inhorgenta Europe 2004
Trends, visions and motivation for international retailers
In 2004, from 20 to 23 February, all eyes will again be on Munich's international watch, clock and jewellery fair. The exhibiting manufacturers and the 30,000 trade visitors from Europe and around the world have known for years that this is the most important trade show for watches, clocks, jewellery, pearls, precious stones and technology within the European Union.
Inhorgenta Europe is particularly renowned for its international display of designer jewellery. But in watch design, too, the fair has made a name for itself as a showcase for new designs. On display at the last event were the purist designs of Nomos, as well as elegant, classic brands like Chronoswiss, GlashÜtte, Maurice Lacroix, Bunz, Chopard, Michel Herbelin and Junghans, plus fashion labels such as Fossil, Seiko, Citizen and Casio. Also in 2003 there was a full turn-out of the big-name fashion designers and fashion labels, including Emporio Armani, Hugo Boss, Christian Dior, DKNY, Dolce & Gabbana, Joop, Nina Ricci and Calvin Klein - all of which presented their latest collections.
Christian Dior, Versace and Zodiac exhibited for the first time at Inhorgenta Europe 2003. And the global concern Casio cancelled all other show dates in Europe to concentrate on the sector forum in Munich.
Armin Wittmann, recently appointed Exhibition Director of Inhorgenta Europe, is happy with how the fair is developing: “The attraction of Inhorgenta Europe lies in the high-quality contacts that are possible here between manufacturers and the retail trade. Our trade fair gives valuable impetus for business in the watch, clock and jewellery sector. The sector needs a strong Inhorgenta Europe. For it is here that the international retail trade can find out about trends, visions and innovations in the sector, and gain renewed motivation for their business.”
All of which is ample reason to earmark the dates of 20 to 23 February 2004 for a visit to inhorgenta 2004 in Munich.
