Milus will make its mark on the luxury watch segment from 2003

Under the company name of Milus International SA the renowned watch brand, Milus, enters a new era. Backed by a new investor, the Peace-Mark Group based in Hong Kong, Milus plans to make its presence known in the luxury watch segment. CEO Jan EdÖcs and his team are working on the launch of the new watch collection with innovative designs, from the company headquarters in Biel, Switzerland. In Spring 2003 the new Milus collection will make its international debut at the Basel and Jewelry Fair.

Clean shapes and a love of detail remain true to the Milus brand, as does the design talent of Paul Junod. The new collections in steel and gold will cost up to 10.000 Swiss francs per watch. Special editions in platinum or with diamonds will range from 100.000 to 250.000 Swiss francs. The contours of the new watches will retain the clear identity of their predecessors. They look back on over 80 years of history of the Montres Milus Paul Junod SA. The designs combine contemporary elegance and soft, rounded shapes to appeal to the creative side of today's elegant woman.

The 31 year-old CEO, Jan EdÖcs, started his career with the Swatch Group. He plans to lead the new company to success based on strong and strategic growth. EdÖcs comments on his new challenge: “We are proud of the new designs and are convinced that we are entering a new era. With the heritage of the Milus brand behind us, now we can really make our mark in the luxury segment.”
