The EXPO.02 in Switzerland - a must for all creatives!
The Swiss EXPO.02 represents itself in an interesting way and the “Arteplages” show art, communication, opinions and insights in uncommon ways on salient places. Each of these four “Arteplages” (a creative word invention by the producers of the Expo, Arte = Art, Plage = Beach) has its own motto and is situated at a bank of a lake, mostly in the Swiss lake regions. A mobile ship platform, the fifth “Arteplage”, connects the peripheral cities of this Swiss country exhibition under the motto “Sense and Movement”. While in the watch city Biel the “Soundtower” transforms the air streams into a real sound adventure, one walks through an artificial cloud of sea water in Yverdon les Bain. Experience - globally - here and today performed by numbers and projected catastrophe pictures in a concave ceiling on the banks of the biggest of the three Jura lakes, built out of the wood from the Swiss pavilion from the world exhibition 2000 in Hanover. The theme: “Nature and Artificiality”. The platform built on the lake with oversize stones is surrounded by neon green reed sticks (glooming at night).
"The EXPO.02 has earned a brand watch', says the creative director of the Swiss national exhibition and created with the FORTIS Pilot watch classic the most exclusive of all memorial items. An on both sides anti-reflective sapphire crystal turns the neatly printed and luminous dial into an eye-catcher. In the inside of this 200 m water resistant watch works an automatic movement. The EXPO.02 edition is available with a padded leather strap or with a massive steel bracelet. Even the exclusive leather box is decorated with the glooming EXPO.02 logo.
