SPECIAL LUXURY: EUROPA STAR October / November Edition
A few years ago, all the watch brands - or nearly - had their `Sports Collection'. This year, all the brands - from the most prestigious to the more modest - appear to have their own `Jewellery Collection'.
At Basel, as at Geneva, one could see an innumerable amount of watches set, pavÉ or enriched with diamonds and precious and semi-precious gemstones.
Diamonds were everywhere, from the oscillating weight (Zenith) to the hands (FaÇonnable) or, better still, on the entire watchcase, the interior and the exterior, as well as on the principal components of the movement (Preziuso). They blend with all materials, from the most trivial (TechnoMarine's plastic, trend setter for so many) to the most luxurious. The watches also sell at all prices!
What's happening in the different markets around the world? How are the consumers reacting to this wave of luxury?
“Diamond's are the best watch's friends?” That's what Europa Star has examined, live, thanks to our team of journalists throughout the world. Their reports will reveal what the retailers have to say.
In addition to this theme, in this issue you will find the latest models, the continuation of our important series on the new `manufactures', along with essential professional news concerning the international watch sector.
So meet up with the watch retailers and distributors of the world on October 9, 2002, the publication date of our October / November issue.
