The most glamour event “Le Marquand” Launch Ceremony was held at Global Timepieces, Shop 3219 Harbour City, Hong Kong, on Friday June 14th, 2002. The event focused on two distinctive new watch collections - Audace & Tucano.

“Le Marquand”, a prestige Swiss Watch brand, is produced and designed in the Swiss region of Gruyère. AndrÉ Le Marquand is the designer and the owner of the brand. His factory has over 50 skillful and professional watch craftsmen to produce hight quality watches. Since 1978, Mr. Le Marquand has designed and manufactured his own brand “Le Marquand”. He is one of the very few designers who is also a watch manufacturer and this is the secret reason behind his success. His products are different to all others, they have a distinctly recognizable identity. Collections like the Tucano, Audace, Harrier, Phantom, Meteor or Ruby share the clarity of design and effortless lines of a consummate designer - a remarkable man who delights in the contrasts of his two favorite colors, red and black. The red and the black - prowess and substance - are present at all the exhibitions, from Las Vegas to Hong Kong, and particularly admired at Basel.

Officiating guest at the ceremony included Mr. Andre Le Marquand, designer of “Le Marquand” and Mr. Stanley Lau, Managing Director of Free Town Watch Products Ltd. Mr. Andre Le Marquand presented 3 watches to the Hong Kong top stars, Mr. Louis Koo, Ms. Sonija Kwok and Ms. Pauline Yam. Top models Rosemary, Cathy Chow, Dickie and Gordon were also invited to show the new collections of “Le Marquand”.
