Stardust by Antoine Preziuso

In our next issue, Europa Star will present a full report on Antoine Preziuso, who will exhibit in Basel (ACHI booth) and in his own premises in the village of Arare, near Geneva.

In this 200th anniversary year of the invention of the tourbillon mechanism by Abraham-Louis Breguet, Antoine Preziuso presents a glittering tribute to this exceptional watchmaking feat in the shape of an entirely diamond-set platinum version of his own exclusive Art of Tourbillon line.

A world premiere, the Stardust tourbillon watch is set with a constellation composed of no less than 2,036 of the world's smallest full-cut diamonds, each boasting 58 facets. The exquisite movement is decorated with 874 diamonds and 14 centenary-cut blue sapphires. A natural choice for such an extraordinary creation, the gleaming platinum of the case and its back is set with 1,162 diamonds. Not to be outdone, and just as certain individuals radiate elegance to the very tips of their fingers, the crown itself is graced by 48 diamonds.

The unbelievable intricacy of this brilliant demonstration of gem-setting mastery and accomplished watchmaking ingenuity is enough to take one's breath away.
