Maurice Lacroix Test Drive
Maurice Lacroix USA is taking a concept of an autmobile test drive and applying it, even taking it a step further, to watches, with their new, innovative and ground-breaking “Test Drive” program.
Starting in mid-January, top retailers around the USA will receive turnkey “Test Drive” kits from Maurice Lacroix, on consignment (so there is no cost to the retailers for this program) that will allow these retailers to provide their best customers with one of five watches to test wear for a period of up to seven days. If the customers don't return the watch within the proscribed time, they'll be automatically charged for the timepiece.
When they do turn the watch back in after they wear it, they will be asked to fill out a customer demographic and response survey (to define what the customer likes and what they want in the future). For filling it out, customers will receive a $100 Maurice Lacroix signature pen. If they buy a Maurice Lacroix watch after their test drive, they'll receive an additional $100 rebate.
(...) The test Drive kit includes five watches, one each of the men's and ladies' Milestone watch, and three Ladies Intuition watches in different treatments. (...) Maurice Lacroix will roll the Test Drive program out in mid-January, and plans to continue the program through May. Should the program be as successful as it sounds like it could be, test drives might just catch on in the watch industry.
