Old Glory jewelry

Old Glory jewelry strong
Let's hear it for the red, white and blue jewelry. Jewelers have been seeing a rise in patriotic jewelry since the September 11 attack in New York. While ruby, sapphire and diamond combinations have been strong, it has been Old Glory in the most demand.
“We were receiving 10 to 20 requests per day for our flag pins the first two weeks after the event,” says Tom Heyman of Oscar Heyman & Bros., New York. While demand has tapered off, Heyman says this is a trend that will remain in the coming year.
Heyman's flag pins, available in several sizes, range in price from $7,500 to $36,000 cost. “Patriotism in America is stronger than ever,” Heyman says.
