Cartier has just introduced its limited edition curved white gold rectangular Tank AmÉricaine watch. The bracelet is in moire (a silk with a watered effect) and the dial takes up the same intriguing pattern. The white gold Tank AmÉricaine, which is available in two sizes, is fitted with an automatic movement, there is a curved crystal sapphire and the crown is set with a blue cabochon sapphire. Originally designed as homage to the allied forces after World War I, the Tank in all its forms has become one of the world's design standards.
