The Group Management of MCH Swiss Exhibition Ltd. has appointed Sylvie Sengelin-Ritter new Show Director of the Watch and Jewellery Show BASELWORLD. She takes over from René Kamm who is in charge of the company as Chief Executive Officer.

With the election as Chief Executive Officer, René Kamm, the previous Show Director of BASELWORLD, was carrying out a double function. Now, Sylvie Sengelin-Ritter is the new Show Director of the Watch and Jewellery Show. She can look back on ten years' exhibition experience with MCH Swiss Exhibition Ltd. and was previously in charge of BASELWORLD's sectors for jewellery and precious stones as well as the Country Pavilions.

Martin Fergusson, the former head of the watch sector, will now be in charge of supporting exhibitors in all sectors of BASELWORLD as Sales Director together with his team.

The former Marketing and Communications Director, Monica Guarnaccia is leaving the company of her own accord after 5 years of successful work. MCH Swiss Exhibition Ltd. thanks her for the consistently constructive and professional collaboration.

The areas previously governed by Monica Guarnaccia have been redistributed: Bernard Keller is in charge of communications, while Sylvie Sengelin-Ritter handles marketing ad interim.
