Matthew Norman 1781 Gorge

The new Matthew Norman collection is reminiscent of the small officers’ clocks with their “gorge”-shaped cabinets that were popular at the end of the 19th century. Their success at the top end of the range ran from around 1867 through to the end of the century. Matthew Norman has brought them back to life again now in solid brass, hand-made, and boasting an 8-day movement with complications, striking mechanism, repeater, alarm, calendar and phases of the moon.
