A magnificent example of DeWitt’s creative capacity, the Academia Répétition Minutes Tourbillon GMT Antipode boasts three extreme complications within a single integrated movement. These can be admired on the two articulated sides of this exceptional timepiece. Fitted around a dedicated axle, the twin-faced case pivots a full 360° laterally. This is achieved by simply pressing on the two lugs at 12 and 6 o’clock, which pushes the case back against the central axle. The tourbillon cage appears on the front side alongside the local hour and minute indications and the minute repeater, while the time on the second time-zone is shown on the other side.
