In a tribute to one of the greatest jazz legends, the Oscar Peterson watch is being offered in a limited series of 1,925 pieces, the same number as the year the musician was born. Piano keys – the piano was his favourite instrument – are reproduced on a black grooved dial reminiscent of a vinyl record. Engraved on the numbered back is the lion that the virtuoso used as a symbol, a virtuoso who also loved watches, particularly those with Roman numerals. The ultimate allusion, Oris has plated the VIII on the dial with pink gold, a reference to the eight Grammy Awards the musician collected during his career. The watch is delivered in a varnished wooden box along with a certificate and DVD.
