Watchmaking has been Mathey-Tissot’s vocation since 1886. The latest collection from the brand is called “Le Blanc” and carries on a long line of classic, Swiss-made watches. Its gentle, round form, its crown tipped with a black cabochon and the short, integrated lugs make this a beautifully understated design. The dial is stamped with a guilloché-type motif, and circled with hour-markers and Roman numerals. Slender, sword-shaped hands complete the picture. The men’s versions have a diameter of 41 mm. They have their feminine counterpart, measuring 31 mm, for a matching set or couple’s watch. Their Ronda quartz calibre and manufacturing in the Swiss canton of Ticino earn these watches the right to proudly bear the Swiss made label.
