The most American of Swiss watch brands lights up Broadway. This new line with its urban, sporty style pays tribute to one of the world’s best-known avenues. This is something of a trip down memory lane for Hamilton, which named its first series of pocket watches, from the 1890s, the Broadway Limited. Fast-forward to today, the automatic chronograph model is full of references to New York and its legendary theatre district. The city’s oldest north-south avenue, Broadway is conjured up by the central line on the dial. The towering buildings that run either side are represented by vertical lines. The skyscraper-style hands, the chronograph counters, and the contrasting polished and satin finishes add to this watch’s distinctly modern vibe.
