The new Khaki Navy Frogman captures an entire facet of Hamilton’s history as well as the early days of professional dive watches. Created for US naval frogmen, it was revealed to the public on-screen in the 1951 film The Frogmen, an appearance that marked the beginning of a fabulous collaboration between Hamilton and Hollywood. The Khaki Navy Frogman scores high on design as well as for its technical qualities, and of course meets the requirements of an authentic dive watch: screw-lock crown protection, unidirectional rotating bezel, oversized hour-markers with a Superluminova coating, helium valve to equalise internal and external pressure, and water-resistance to 1,000 metres. Last but not least, the rubber strap features an eye-catching tone-on-tone central section and a ribbed exterior to create pleasing texture and colour contrasts.
