The Cuervo y Sobrinos brand couldn’t miss the chance to draw a parallel between the historical past of its place of origin. Secret beaches, buried treasures: Caribbean islands such as Cuba, Tortuga and Santo Domingo were once a favourite hunting ground for famous pirates. Mirroring this spirit of freedom, daring and adventure, Cuervo y Sobrinos pays tribute to the rebellious and romantic side of the buccaneers. The Torpedo Pirata watch introduces a feature that is new to the watchmaking: a complicated and innovative modular case with interchangeable rings fitted between the case and the bezel. The watch can evolve over time by playing with various metals carefully chosen to reflect the pirate spirit. The GMT version is available in bronze with titanium, burnished steel in two versions with white or black dial, with black Louisiana alligator or ostrich strap.
