Buoyed by the success of its skeletonised models, the Jura-based Aerowatch brand presents a new creation in a numbered edition. Right from first sight, this Skeleton Semi-Skeletonised Chronograph exudes an appealingly distinctive contemporary style, even though every stage of production is performed in keeping with the finest traditions of Swiss craftsmanship. Like a camera shutter, the cut-out black dial provides tantalising glimpses of transparent halos, revealing the complexity of a mechanical movement. Bridges, oscillating weight, gear trains and blued screws interact with infinite precision, in turn revealing chamfered, rhodium-plated, circular-grained and Côtes de Genève finishing. The enigmatic and intriguing dial features four counters with a resolutely 21st century design, respectively marking off the chronograph hours and minutes, small seconds, as as well as the date.
