Drawing on his mastery of both jewellery and watchmaking, Swiss setter and goldsmith Andreas Altmann thrives on the challenge of creating unique and beautifully unusual timepieces. Niura is an ode to sensual femininity and his first timepiece. The watch features hinges that allow it to perfectly encircle the wrist of its wearer. These articulated case edges enclose a 5N red gold casing measuring 35mm across, with a transparent sapphire dial and caseback. The watch is powered by a Giberg Flying Tourbillon ’Trilevis 6118’ Manufacture Calibre, made in-house and designed to ensure a power reserve of 72 hours. A fine structure, entirely set with diamonds, links the edges of the case to the lizard leather strap, on which a diamond-studded drop balances delicately. Its original design and highly technical expertise make this a unique piece of time-keeping jewellery. Niura swinging frame casing, designed by Vivian Müller.
