The “civil” version of the famous aviators’ chronograph “Navitimer 92”, launched 40 years ago, is characterized by its reduced dimensions which make it suitable for all wrists. This reduction was made possible by using the world’s smallest seifwinding chronograph movement, from which Breitiing is the only important watchmaker to benefit. High frequency movement (28.800 v.p.h.) with a 26.20 mm diameter and 38 functional jewels, with center seconds counter and 30-minute and 12-hour totalizers. Another novelty, the circular slide rule with a variable tachymeter which can be used whatever the distance covered or the time elapsed, i as well as a telemeter and pulsimeter. Case design with rotating crystal unique in the world. Patented system of water-resistance with special “segment” gasket. Water-resistance guaranteed to 30 m. On both sides glareproofed sapphire crystal, bidirectional rotating bezel. Antique dial (requiring more than £4.0 operations) with Arab numerals with tritium. Available in steel, steel with 18K gold bezel or in 18K solid gold. Leather strap or Pilot bracelet.(BREITLIt4G ’Navitimer 92"Collection 1884)
