European Watch Clock and Jewellery Fair 1981 BF 2002
Look again! No, this is not a skeleton watch but Vacheron Constantin’s latest entry in the mechanical watch field. The position of its extrathin movement has been reversed in the case to reveal the parts normally facing the back of the watch: balance wheel, geartrain, barrel... Consequently, the direction of the hands had to be reversed too, using a special patented construction. All visible components are chased by hand. The case is in yellow gold and features an engraved hour circle. (VACHERON CONSTANTIN “Structura”)
