European Watch Clock and Jewellery Fair 1986 BF 325
A survival kit unto itself : steel case water-resistant to a depth of 200 m, matt black finish, shock-protected by a rubber “bumper” gasket lodged in the case, rubber-covered screw-lock crown and... silicone bracelet fixed to the case by two strong steel pins (patented system) which effectively prevent the watch from being accidentally torn off the wrist. The bracelet also features a removable container with chemically treated surface for detecting alpha, beta, gamma and X rays. Technical information on survival is even inscribed on the bracelet. One-way rotating bezel. Truly the stuff of heroes (BREITLING “Neptune Military”)
