The most unusual and potentially revolutionary development to be found at BASEL 88 : a quartz watch fitted with a totally new power-generation system. The result of three years of intensive research and development, it features an entirely original flywheel (or oscillating mass) coupled to an equally original power generator called Generotor System that together free this watch from any dependence whatsoever on an external source of power like a battery or power cell.
